Job Description
This position exists to provide support to the Central Lakes College Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students and faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
Post-secondary or industry certificate/diploma/degree or relevant license in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), OR
Six months teaching/tutoring experience in EMS at the high school level or above, OR
Two years of work experience in EMS where no degree/certificate/diploma/licensure is required, OR
An equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of lab/shop equipment sufficient to instruct others on proper use and perform maintenance.
Knowledge of oral, visual, writing, and mechanical skills sufficient to demonstrate operational techniques.
Knowledge of lab practices, techniques, and safety standards sufficient to operate equipment safely.
Knowledge of college policies, programs, and curriculum sufficient to develop guidelines and goals with students.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to students and instructors in a positive and respectful manner.
