Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Boynton Beach, Florida. The role primarily involves assisting with collections and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing. You will also receive training on contract entry. This role will require experience with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with any accounting software, preferably Q360 or QB.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with collections and accounts receivable functions

• Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Training on contract entry and subsequently handling the same

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Operating preferred accounting software such as Q360 or QB for efficient task completion

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve disputes and discrepancies

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Experience with accounting software and systems would be advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proven track record of improving AR processes and reducing overdue balances

• Ability to understand and apply relevant financial legislation and standards.
