SCOPE OF ROLE The Strategic Account Manager for Distribution for MSP will be responsible for driving rapid growth through the company's distribution channel partners. This role involves creating channel sales strategies, identifying the right channel partners, and building strong long-lasting relationships that will result in a partner channel organization consistently outperforming market expectations. This role is perfect for someone with a builder mindset that is looking forward to demonstrating their ability to build and grow a world class channel partner organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Channel Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective channel partner strategies, making MSP the most compelling brand to promote within the electrical and electronic industries. Exceed market expectation growth and achieve company growth objectives. Relationship Management: Establish, maintain, and strengthenmulti-layered relationships with key players at both national and branch levels. Performance Monitoring: Leverage tools such as Power BI and CRM to monitor the performance of distribution channelsto ensure sales objectives are exceeded. Identify areas for improvement andimplement action plans. Channel Programing:Analyze and deploy programs and services for channel partners to ensure status as premier brand for our channel partners. Market Analysis: Remain fully abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customerneeds within the distribution channel. Provide feedback to the internal team to inform productdevelopment and to continuously improve marketing strategies. Training and Support: Provide training and support at both national and branch level to ensure distributionpartners maximize the exposure and adoption of MSP's product offering. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience with managing channel partners or strong experience within partner channel network. Track record of delivering growth that outperformed market growth expectations. Strong understanding of channel partner strategies and market dynamics. Vast understanding of channel partner incentive programs. Experience within the electrical field is an asset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Travel up to 50%. Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships. Ambitious, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
