Summary
This position will serve as the Admissions Administrative and Recruitment Coordinator (AARC) for the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT). The AARC will provide administrative support to the admissions and recruitment activities for both the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) programs in the SPOT.
Essential Functions
• Assist with the strategic development and implementation of admissions and recruitment activities for the SOPT. Position assists in researching, planning, implementing and assessing programming in order to grow the academic programs.
• Support the DPT and OTD Admissions Coordinators and Asst. Director of Diversity and Inclusion in developing strategic plans for attracting competitive candidates to the respective programs.
• Provide administrative support in the review of applicants, evaluate applicants for eligibility, assign applicants to faculty review, and collect faculty comments for admissions committee evaluation of applicants.
• Support the evaluation of recruitment and admission related data to determine effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
• Support SPOT recruitment activities with the coordination of a large variety of special events, open houses, and other recruitment related activities, both on campus and off-site, including coordinating all schedules, recruiting and overseeing volunteers, allocating space, following up wit potential students and sending recruitment materials to accepted students.
• Research best practices and coordinate outreach activities for accepted students.
• Participate in regular on-campus and virtual information sessions for prospective students.
• Travel to recruiting events as needed.
• Communicate with accepted students on regular basis to provide resources and documents required for matriculation.
• Assist the DPT and OTD Admissions Coordinator with the scheduling and hosting of informational webinars for prospective and accepted student audiences.
• Work with Clinical Education and Placement Administrative Coordinator to provide support to accepted students in the new student matriculation process.
Minimum Qualifications
The following Degree is required:
• Bachelor's Degree. Degree must be conferred at time of application.

• Master's Degree
The following Experience is required:
• 2 years of experience in academic administration
The following Experience is preferred:
• Experience in academic administration preferably with student recruitment, graduate enrollment/professional programs
