The Gordon Ford College of Business (GFCB) Recruitment and Retention Coordinator focuses on student recruitment efforts, retention, and Commencement. The duties include:
Coordinating communication with prospective students and their parents/guardians, including mailings, texting, emails, calls, etc.
Coordinating GFCB participation in WKU Admissions recruiting events, participating in the WKU Recruitment Advisory Council
Advising the Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chairs and Director of Student Success on university student recruitment efforts
Coordinating GFCB-specific recruiting events
Arranging VIP tours for prospective students
Coordinating the annual GFCB Preview Day for incoming students
Leading the GFCB ambassadors' program to arrange coverage for tours, recruiting events and other GFCB events as needed
Working with GFCB marketing on ordering swag, stationery, and materials necessary for recruiting and the development of recruiting-related print and digital media, including postcards, flyers, letters, etc.
Serving as the central point of contact within the GFCB and across campus for recruiting and commencement-related matters
Coordinating GFCB participation in transfer student recruiting events
Coordinating GFCB participation in campus visits for high schools
Assisting with the coordination of GFCB participation in high school events, such as DECA, FBLA, etc.
Visiting area high schools to present GFCB programs and student success resources at High School's or Community College's
Arranging coverage for information tables, as requested
Serving as the liaison between the GFCB and Admissions for recruiting-related report requests
Developing ideas for new and innovative recruiting initiatives
Analyzing the recruiting timeline from inquiry to day 1 class attendance and suggesting ideas to fill gaps
Coordinating and organizing Commencement & Recognition Ceremony festivities
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in related field of study
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $17.44/hr - $20.51/hr
