The Assistant Director, Graduate Enrollment Strategy & Engagement will create communications and other marketing materials. This position works as an integral part of Graduate Studies and will collaborate with Academic Program Marketing, University Marketing & Communicaitons, and academic programs within Western Kentucky University. This position reports to the Executive Director for Graduate Studies and is responsible for coordinating with academic programs and building communication plans in Slate CRM to support efforts to increase graduate enrollment.

The duties to be performed by the Assistant Director, Enrollment Strategy & Engagement are below:

  • Execute the event/visit strategy for an assigned population by designing and managing each opportunity with the goal of providing guests with a positive and memorable experience. Additionally, develop an event/visit plan that engages associated key influencer groups Strategies will encompass on-campus and virtual events.

  • Oversee the development, implementation and assessment of complex communication plans that encourage funnel conversion. These plans will utilize all available communication platforms and mediums (print, electronic, text messaging, digital and social media) and account for a complex set of needs across diverse application pools.

  • Build communications including the creation and editing of content, updating HTML in emails templates, building and updating translation tables and content blocks. Develop queries and reports to monitor campaign and event performance. Stay up-to-date on Slate enhancements and new features as continuous learning and platform curiosity is required.

  • Oversee data population structures within Slate to ensure efficiency in communication deployment and consistency in data management across levels at the University.

  • Serve as the primary website manager for the Graduate Studies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is published in a timely manner and performs regular website audits.

  • Collaborate with the Academic departments, Academic Program Marketing, and University Marketing & Communications to create and update communication content while also serving on various communications and marketing committees including the Communication Cabinet and Recruitment Advisory Board.

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, advertising, professional writing, or related field

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

    Additional Information:

Salary: $48,000
