SciTec Associate / Staff Software Platform Engineer in Boulder, Colorado

We're seeking a Platform Engineer with an active security clearance to work directly at our customer's site. This role is suitable for technical professionals with 0-3 years of platform engineering experience or those with transferable skills from adjacent technical fields who are eager to develop platform engineering expertise.
Responsibilities:
Support integration and deployment of applications into containerized environments
Assist with implementation of deployment strategies across development, test, and operational systems
Help maintain CI/CD pipelines
Support integration of development tools for artifact management, testing, and code analysis
Participate in troubleshooting of deployed applications
Interface with customer stakeholders with guidance from senior team members
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Current active DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
0-3 years of technical experience in IT, software development, or systems administration
Basic experience with Linux systems
Ability to work 100% on-site at customer location
Detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Technical Requirements:
Foundational understanding of containerization concepts (Docker)
Basic scripting or programming knowledge
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

The pay range for this position is $80,000- $115,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
