Description We are in the agriculture industry, situated in Boulder, Colorado, and are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is based on a short-term contract and will primarily involve the management of accounts receivable functions, as well as the utilization of various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts receivable including billing, cash activity, and check processing

• Utilize accounting software systems such as IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel for efficient record-keeping

• Communicate effectively with clients to address any inquiries or issues related to accounts receivable

• Leverage Microsoft Office Suites and Zoho for administrative tasks and client communications

• Conduct B2B collections while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service

• Ensure the accuracy of all accounting functions and rectify any discrepancies promptly

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and meet set targets

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and suggest improvements to current processes when necessary

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable Specialist role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as Zoho, IBM AS/400 is required

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites are necessary

• Experience in performing Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial

• Familiarity with Billing Functions, Cash Activity, and Check Processing is needed

• Previous experience in B2B collections is desirable

• Excellent client communication skills are required

• Must possess strong overall communication skills

• Previous experience in the Agriculture industry would be beneficial

• Proficiency in using accounting software systems is a must
