A manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Technician I to join their team!
This company has been in business for over 50 years. They manufacture and distribute a wide range of pipe products for the waterworks and wastewater industries- all made here in the US! Quality Technician I Job Duties:
- Inspecting and verifying parts, including dimensional checks, welds, finishes, markings, and component configurations, typically using visual inspection and simple tools
- Reviewing material test reports (MTRs) and confirming they meet required standards
- Conducting basic root cause analysis for materials and collaborating with Engineering and Purchasing
- Utilizing Oracle materials management software to electronically record and track materials
- Performing weekly process audits in various production departments and creating audit reports
Quality Technician I Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a quality related role in manufacturing
- Experience with print reading, defect recognition, and finishing
- Proficiency with tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and digital indicators
- Strong communication, computer, and mathematical skills
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 8:00am -- 4:30pm
