The opportunity
Community, Opportunities, and Advancement at Children’s Hospital (COACH)
The High School COACH summer internship is a 30 hours/week paid program running from Monday, June 23-Friday, August 8, 2025. This program offers:
Exposure to a variety of healthcare careers
Increased knowledge of healthcare career pathways for high school-to-workforce and high school-to-college populations
Introduction to foundational interpersonal skills needed to be successful in a healthcare setting
What you’ll do
High school internship opportunities are generally administrative in nature. Previous interns have been hosted by departments such as:
Pharmacy
Office of the CEO
Environmental Health and Safety
Endocrinology
Emergency Department
Ophthalmology-Whitman Lab
Internship roles may be full in -person or hybrid, with the schedule determined by the department and supervisor.
