POSITION SUMMARY

The StorageBackup Engineer is responsible for helping the senior storagebackup engineer for managing and maintaining our storage and backup environments both OnPrem and in the cloud. Role is to help assist in the efficient operation, functionality, and stability of our storagebackup environments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up backup and recovery processes for all production systems.

  • Configure storage arrays.

  • Setting up backup and recovery processes while ensuring data integrity.

  • Troubleshooting NAS & SAN storage solutions and backup issues.

  • Monitor storage and backup performance, resource utilization, and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.

  • Perform general system administration duties for backup systems and storage

  • Work as a technical resource on assigned projects with testing and response.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
