<p><strong>Who We Are (Service Technology)</strong></p>

<p>As a Senior Product Designer on the Service Technology Product Development team at Wayfair, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of customer service technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, machine learning, and data analytics to create innovative, user-centric designs that enhance the customer experience and drive business outcomes.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Lead the end-to-end design process for new features and enhancements, from concept to launch.</li>

<li>Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and user stories.</li>

<li>Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.</li>

<li>Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts.</li>

<li>Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.</li>

<li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers.</li>

<li>Stay current with industry trends and best practices in design and technology.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>You are an empathetic designer, a conversation driver, and skilled in design iterations.</li>

<li>Your proficiency in UX design is highly impressive, and your passion for clarity and simplicity serves as a driving force behind your work.</li>

<li>3+ years of professional UX experience.</li>

<li>Strong understanding of design processes; specifically in User Experience and User Interface design.</li>

<li>Knowledge of what is possible and what will be hard to achieve and implement in a digital environment.</li>

<li>A strong understanding of e-commerce, B2B, or SaaS best practices.</li>

<li>The ability to think at a system level, designing solutions that are scalable and extensible beyond a single use.</li>

<li>Communication and interpersonal skills: ability to present and articulate ideas, openness to evolve opinions that challenge beliefs respectfully</li>

<li>Are proficient in industry-standard tools in design and collaboration tools like Figma and Miro.</li>

<li>Expertise in producing relevant deliverables, and prototypes, including detailed site maps, user flows/task flows, user journeys, page flows, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes that represent interaction design.</li>

<li>The ability to design and execute usability tests and other user research activities.</li>

<li>An online portfolio of case studies that demonstrates successful advocacy for the end-user, highlighting: digital product design work, analytical decision-making, and strategic thinking.</li>

<li>Masters Degree in Digital Media, HCI or UX-related field</li>

<li>Nice to Have:</li>

<ul>

<li>Experience designing for e-commerce or customer service technology</li>

<li>Familiarity with design systems and component libraries</li>

<li>Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li>
