Job Description

We are looking for a Senior BSA to join a fast paced and growing brokerage/trading organization within a large financial institution. This team is responsible for a next generation trading platform that is going to be crucial to the company's future success. It has recently been launched into production and is receiving so much traction and interest that the team has to grow significantly and quickly. Within the brokerage / trading platform, this team focuses on the Financial Reference Data, which this BSA should have great domain knowledge of. This individual should have an in depth background in business analysis but should also have domain knowledge and experience within Financial Reference Data. This squad is about 15 people today consisting of developers, QA, product owners and BAs.

On a day-to-day basis, this individual will wear many hats including acting as the scrum master and managing the Agile practice. They will be managing daily standups, creating Jira stories, creating roadmaps, managing the team, and ensuring timely delivery. They'll also work with QA's and Developers, to ensure they know exactly what they are working on. While a technical background is not required, it is essential this individual understands what the developers need to write the code effectively.

On Site Requirements: this individual is required to be on site one week per month.

65-75/hr.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of total experience, with at least 5 as a Technical BA, BSA or Product Manager

Financial Services domain knowledge, specifically within Financial Reference Data

Experience managing an agile team, creating Jira stories, creating roadmaps, and triaging with QA's and Developers

Exceptional communication, with experience interfacing and presenting to high level stakeholders

Great Documentation experience

Living in / around Boston MA, Salt Lake City UT, Raleigh NC, Smithfield RI, Merrimack NH, Westlake TX, or Jersey City NJ Prior development experience null
