Job Description

You must be a pro at answering the calls of hotel guests and associates throughout the day with their important needs and requests. You will operate multiple phone lines to provide caring and professional service, listen with intensity to catch each detail, and ensure a thorough follow-up to each call. You must answer and attend to each call with extreme care, professionalism, and accuracy according to Omni Hotel's standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with check in and check out at the Front Desk as needed

  • Answer incoming telephone calls to the hotel efficiently and courteously.

  • Direct phone calls and messages to appropriate personnel or guest.

  • Assist all guests and employees.

  • Initiating Omni prompt responses help line by logging information regarding problems/situations which require prompt attention and relaying to appropriate personnel.

  • Recording and making Wake up calls.

  • Take In Room Dining Food and beverage orders

  • Receiving and sending facsimile messages as needed, as well as operating switchboard and two-way radio.

  • Taking all in room dining orders with accuracy.

  • Logging all guest's request regarding engineering in Synergy.

  • Communicate effectively with all departments using radio.

  • Promptly notifying Security Team when alarms sound.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service in Hospitality experience preferred

  • Food and Beverage experience perferred for menu and In room Dining Ordertaking

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Must have multitasking skills

  • Must have clear, polite and professional phone etiquette

  • Must have ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
