We are offering a unique opportunity for a Digital Designer in the Greater Boston area. This role is centered around supporting our company's rebranding efforts and transition from WooCommerce to Shopify. As a key part of our team, you'll be responsible for digital asset creation, UX and Web design support, and additional design support and content creation. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide design support during the transition from WooCommerce to Shopify

• Assist in the rebranding of one of our product websites

• Create digital assets as required by the rebranding process

• Offer UX and Web design support throughout the transition phase

• Contribute to additional design support and content creation

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify, and WooCommerce to perform job duties effectively

• Apply mid-level experience in UX/UI Wireframing and basic video editing skills

• Use Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for various design tasks

Requirements

• 5+ years of web/digital design experience

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Woocommerce

• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

• Up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

• Strong portfolio of design projects

• Bachelor's degree in design, computer science or relevant field is preferred

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
