Job Summary
Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) is currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our EMV department at our Bolingbrook manufacturing facility. This is a third-shift position working Monday through Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with regular opportunities for overtime. We are looking for a positive and experienced individual eager for a long-term role, who thrives on physical work, enjoys guiding staff, and is committed to achieving results. As the role evolves, the successful candidate will take on new responsibilities and challenges.

- - Operate EMV machines during production, ensuring products are manufactured within established parameters.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Read job specifications and previous run data to set machine parameters and material requirements.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Perform maintenance following proper Lockout/Tag-out procedures.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Meet or exceed job standards for line speeds, scrap rates, and setup times.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Load and unload stock efficiently and safely.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Maintain department inventory and supplies, ensuring everything is accounted for.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Report any maintenance needs to the Maintenance Department promptly.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure product specifications are met.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Engage in ongoing training opportunities to support a continuous quality improvement environment.
{=html} <!-- --> - - Verify material conformance to specifications using measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures, and calipers.

{=html} <!-- --> - - Verify that guards at pinch points and potential burn areas are present before operating the machine.
