This position will work in our Boise office.

Typical Duties:

  • Performs paraprofessional clinical duties; establishes and maintains client records, gathers client data and provides health and community program resource information to clients;

  • Interviews clients to obtain and document detailed personal data including health and dietary information;

  • Explains services and programs, determines client eligibility, uses information to establish needs and adapts services for clients;

  • Obtains, processes, and reads results of height, weight and hemoglobin;

  • Describes program requirements, client rights and obligations;

  • Provides health and nutrition information to groups and individuals using professionally prepared materials;

  • Distributes program outreach materials;

  • Contacts clients about program services;

  • Compiles data for program reports.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Some knowledge of: health and nutritional needs of adults and children.

    Experience: interviewing and eliciting personal information; adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; recording information accurately and legibly.

    This position includes laboratory testing duties and requires a High School diploma or GED certificate.

    Preferred Qualifications (these are not required, however, having these qualifications may increase your overall ranking):

  • Experience in a customer service role;

  • Experience collecting blood samples in a clinic setting;

  • Experience measuring height and weight;

  • Experience giving presentations to groups or conducting training sessions;

  • Ability to speak, write and read both English and Spanish.
