As a Finance Program/Project Manager within the Finance Organization, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects that support Micron strategic initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will have a business mind for transformation and proven ability to deliver business outcomes. In this role, you will use project management methods and tools to accurately track activities, predict results, and achieve outcomes critical to success. As a natural leader and team builder, this person should have a strong talent to coordinate multiple workstreams, delegate to ensure project deliverables are complete and ask questions to challenge the status quo. This is a highly collaborative role, you will be working closely with the business teams across the company to drive process excellence, timely project execution and influence key business decisions. In addition, you drive continuous improvement and operational readiness as a champion for change though organizational communications, trainings, UAT and executive leadership updates.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Manage and support strategic and transformation programs/projects that impact Finance

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned workstream leads to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan and timing for new initiatives

  • Demonstrate high-level of management and leadership skills

  • Engage in definition of project scope and objectives collaboratively with relevant stakeholders and drive alignment in program deliverables/timeline

  • Drive program execution with cross-functional groups ensuring timelines are met

  • Displays conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to deliver quality results within set timeframe

  • Proactively identify issues and risks that may impact the on-time delivery of tasks and deliverables

  • Provide recommendations to address issues, risks, and other challenges

  • Regularly communicate with finance leadership on project status, at times escalating for key decisions/support

  • Participate in proactive resource planning and change management

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, and trainings as needed

  • Promote continual learning and drive a continuous process improvement mindset

Key Skills and Capabilities:

  • Proven experience in Program/Project Management

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects and drive successful outcomes

  • Demonstrate understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies

  • Experience implementing large organizational changes utilizing change management methods and tools

  • Proficient Business and Financial acumen

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication – ability to deliver clear and concise message

  • Ability to collaborate with business partners and influence key decisions

  • Proactive with strong personal initiative and a sense of urgency to drive results

  • Experience with process excellence, process re-design and initiatives

  • Project software proficiency, SharePoint, MS Project, MS Office

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; high tech industry preferred

  • 5+ years of Project and or Program Management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field of study

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (desired)

  • Change Management Certification a plus

  • Six Sigma Certification a plus

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$95,000.00 - $252,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
