Overview

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm onsite.

What You Can Expect:

• Supports internal and external requestors (patients, third parties, attorneys, and SLHS departments) by fulfilling medical record requests and managing ROI (Release of Information) phone calls and emails.

• Monitors, evaluates, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of patient health records by identifying and correcting inconsistencies in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Responds to staff inquiries regarding patient health records, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Assists in planning, defining, testing, and implementing improvements for data collection, verification, and reporting.

• Creates, modifies, and analyzes moderately complex reports to support data accuracy and integrity.

• Collaborates with various departments to develop and maintain accuracy models for health information management.

• Acts as a mentor and role model by providing training to staff, resolving challenges, and addressing complex issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
