Sartorius North America Field Account Manager- Tarrytown, NY Region in Bohemia, New York
You are currently seeking a field-based Account Manager our Sales organization within the Tarrytown/Westchester area. In this position, you will be responsible for working within our sales organization to drive growth and build and maintain effective relationships within an assigned account.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- You will identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
- In this role, you will actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity at key accounts.
- One of your tasks will be to support customer requirements in supply and quality in close alignment with our internal capabilities.
- You will regularly visit critical decision makers and influencers at the accounts and able to build sustainable business relationship.
- On an as needed basis, you will periodically report on the progress of the business to line management and internal stakeholders, using reporting tools as provided and recommended by the organization.
What will convince us:
- You have completed a Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or Bioengineering or related field.
- You have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and proven track in sales within the Biotech or Life Science Industry
- You have a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel min 50% working time in designated territory.
- You are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $90,000.00 and $115,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate's base salary.
