ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPEACIALIST

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a sharp, eager Accounts Payable Specialist for our dynamic Distribution client in Bohemia.

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:

• Process full cycle Accounts Payable in a high-volume environment including 3-way matching, proper GL coding of expenses and purchases

• Process vendor payments via wires and checks

• Conduct vendor reconciliations

• Build and maintain vendor relationships

• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry and Invoice Processing skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
