Project Engineer

Job Description

Support technical issues related to manufacturing and product quality. Develop new processes for plasma-derived therapies. Follow regulatory guidelines for process development and validation. Ensure lab equipment is calibrated and compliant. Design and plan scientific experiments for projects. Review and approve cGMP documentation. Lead process development and validation studies. Transfer process changes from Process Development (PD) to Manufacturing. Act as a liaison between PD and Manufacturing. Maintain and review process development Batch Records. Perform other tasks as assigned by PD Managers. Support Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Management with new processes and technology. Assist in process development and validation studies in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow regulatory guidelines for process development and validation

  • Ensure lab equipment is calibrated and compliant

  • Design and plan scientific experiments for projects

  • Review and approve cGMP documentation

  • Lead process development and validation studies

  • Transfer process changes from PD to Manufacturing

  • Act as a liaison between PD and Manufacturing

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by PD Managers

  • Support Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Management with new processes and technology

Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment

  • Equipment Qualification/Validation, and Commissioning

  • cGMP Document Control

  • Bachelors Degree in STEM field (Chemical or Mechanical preferred

  • Project Management

  • Troubleshooting

Work Environment

Time spent on manufacturing floor, interacting with QA/QC/Production/Facilities, and own desk setup in engineering wing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $62.50/hr.
