Reporting to the CEO of IPS Life Sciences, the Global VP, Environmental Health, Safety, & Wellness will provide global expertise to the Life Sciences market along with the organization's enterprise which includes both Linesight and Springtide. This position will be relied on to deliver safety expertise in the latest technology and trends within IPS' core divisions - design (process safety), construction management, and commissioning qualification validation (CQV) all underpinned with "wellness" at its core. This role will interface externally and with all IPS companies associated under the enterprise and within all disciplines in each division. The position will require a professional who thoroughly understands safety protocols, regulations, and best practices coupled with a proven track record working as part of an executive management team in a high-risk industry.

Key Activities and Responsibilities: Maintain the development and execution of a global health & safety strategy tailored to the services provided by IPS. Align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Ensure IPS remains at the forefront of new concepts in safety technology for construction management, process safety, and wellness. Articulate and implement new concepts and initiatives on a global platform. Interact with clients in order to ensure best in class programs are implemented as part of overall IPS Enterprise offerings. Provide guidance and leadership to regional health & safety teams, ensuring consistency and adherence to global standards. Manage current IPS health & safety staff members. Promote a comprehensive program that prioritizes wellness across all key initiatives. Provide guidance to management in order to minimize risk associated with existing or new health & safety services. Design and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to company services, considering the diverse nature of projects and regional regulations. Continuously review and update policies to reflect emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices. Design and implement a comprehensive risk assessment program across project sites, identifying potential non-compliance actions, hazards and implementing effective control measures to mitigate risks. Effectively leverage protocols for incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action, promoting a proactive approach to risk management. Maintain knowledge on global health and safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the design, construction management, and CQV sectors ensuring full compliance across all operations. Interface with regulatory agencies, industry bodies, and external stakeholders to influence policy development and advocate for safer work environments. Training and Education: Develop and deliver industry specific training programs for project personnel at all levels. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging employees to actively participate in safety initiatives that contribute to a safe work environment. Analyse and utilize metrics in order to track the effectiveness of health & safety initiatives, benchmarking performance against industry standards and internal targets. Develop and deliver reports to executive leadership, highlighting trends, accomplishments, and areas for improvement. Establish and maintain relationships within internal stakeholders, project teams, clients and contractors in order to foster collaboratio and promote a shared commitment to safety excellence. Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education/Qualifications/Work Experience: 15 + Years of global industrial Environmental, Health, and Safety experience. Experience in the AEC and/or Life Sciences industries is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Previous management experience leading globally based teams is a must. Professional certification in health & safety (e.g., CSP, CIH CSCS, NEBOSH, other) highly desirable. Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example: speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.) Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence teams at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and drive consensus. Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decision-making. Demonstrated experience in crisis management, incident investigation, and emergency response planning. Ability to travel and work effectively with diverse groups both domestically and internationally. About Us
