Then join our EMEA Group Purchasing team as a Purchasing Assistant.

Based In Bjerringbro and with reference directly to Sr. Purchasing Director, IND & EMEA, Morten Tordrup Andersen you will join our EMEA Purchasing team, who are responsible for Category Management on a wide range of categories.

What is the job about?

As our new Purchasing Assistant, you will get an array of different tasks that varies from being administrative or project-oriented to ad hoc assignments. The job is divided into 3 overall categories:

Leadership team support

• Administrative and communicative support

• Calendar management

• KPI reporting

• Making analysis and event planning

Category Management related activities

• Support Category Management in various activities such as data analysis, preparation, and coordination of negotiations

• Create E sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, E auctions) and prepare an evaluation for the Category Manager

• Contract preparation incl. schedules

Project support and administrative tasks

• Ordering and follow up on samples requested and tool orders by Category Manager

• Ensure supplier access to the online Supplier Portal and access to relevant specifications such as Grundfos drawings or standards

• Responsible for processing documentation changes with suppliers

Your main collaboration partners are Purchasing Management, Category Managers, Grundfos production plants in Europe, Product Development, and suppliers.

Your background

We imagine that you to have a relevant commercial or technical education. It is an advantage if you have some experience from a similar position preferable within industry or large manufacturing environments – but this is not a requirement for taking on this role. As a person you are well-organized, detail oriented and likes to follow instructions and procedures. You are a team player who also likes working independently with your own tasks.

Besides that, we imagine you to be/have:

• Analytical and strategic thinking

• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English

• Experience in IT-tools: for instance, Office Programs

• Motivated by delivering results and meeting customer expectations
