ADivisionalGroup, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Managerwill maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

This role is working & supporting Hotels in the within across the UK&I through a mixture of working both within hotels , GCE offices & home-working.

Please note for opportunity travel is required around the UK to support the GC&E Sales Offices.

What will I be doing?

AsDivisionalGroup, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager, you will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. TheDivisionalGC&E Sales Manager will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, aDivisionalGroup, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Support the resident GC&E Sales Manager from the hotel to meet the business needs.
  • Supporting in the leadership of coaching andtraining of team members from within the GC&E Sales office the role is supporting
  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
  • Manage an events schedule to maximise yield
  • Completion of SOP’s to deadlines
  • Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
  • Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
  • Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
  • Research & Pro-active GCE activities

What are we looking for?

A Regional Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Flexibility in working style and able to adapt style to meet the needs of different hotels and General Managers
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Confident telephone manner
  • High level of IT skills
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a Sales environment
  • For this role travel around the UK is essential

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of the hotel property management systems to include advanced knowledge ofdelphi.fdc or other hotel sales software..
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference and Events function
  • Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevant field
