Good Shepherd Fairview Home is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional Therapy team!

Requirements: State Licensed and Registered Occupational Therapist or COTA.
Job description:
Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients who demonstrate disorders of neurological deficit, musculoskeletal deficit, weakness, paralysis, postural deficit. Eval and treatment will only be conducted after a written order is received from the physician.
Responsible for screening of residents of the facility.
Completion of all necessary documentation
Attending all required facility meetings and in-services, including Medicare meetings, patient staffing, family meetings, care plans.
May assist both the Therapy Coordinator and Rehab Director in program development.
Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state, federal, and other appropriate certification.
Employ and follow all appropriate facility infection control policies and procedures and will respect and follow OBRA Resident’s Rights Guidelines.
Responsible for the appropriate scheduling of residents on caseload.
Will contact the Therapy Coordinator and Rehab Director if productivity levels consistently fall below or exceed the standard to indicate the need for additional staffing or the need for assistance in screening and identifying residents in need of OT services.
Responsible for the scheduling and completing of in-services for facility staff education.
Present her/himself in a professional manner at all times including professional conduct, professional communication, and appropriate dress while in the facility.
