BILLINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 INSTRUCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST K-5 in BILLINGS, Montana
Billings School District 2 is seeking two (2) Instructional Improvement Specialists K-5 for the 2025-2026 School Year. BEA Salary Schedule. Various Locations. Requires a current Montana Educator License with an endorsement in Elementary. Qualifications: - Valid Montana Teaching Certificate. - Bachelor's degree in Education. - Successful teaching experience. Performance Responsibilities (may include but not limited to the following) - Evidence of knowledge of research-based math and reading best practices. - Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and building administrator to coordinate both classroom instruction and invention. - Utilize student data to inform instructional decisions and track the effectiveness of interventions. - Work with school leadership to establish data-driven goals and assess progress towards academic benchmarks. - Analyze assessment results to identify trends and implement strategies for continuous improvement. - Working knowledge of Multi-tiered Systems of Support Model and progress monitoring cycle. - Working knowledge of the scope and sequence of K-5 reading and math with a focus on the critical areas and concepts. - Communicate and document students? progress to parents and school staff. - Participates in grade level Professional Learning Community Meetings at all grade levels. - Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional strategies, curriculum implementation, and assessment practices. - Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching effectiveness. - Design and deliver professional development sessions based on identified needs and best practices.
