Essential Responsibilities:
Definition of LPT/ADT components geometry and development of its design achieving required functional parameters and required durability without compromising the manufacturability and business expectation – cost targets.
Proposing cost out ideas and potential design changes improving cost of the product
Proactively working with System Eng., Designers, Hardware Owners, and cost-out Team
Results presentation and reporting to Technical and reviewing boards communities.
Provide product definition and Finite Element Analysis FEM for needs of the above, using:
FEM modeling (mesh, BC’s and Loads application) of engine components – Ansys, Hyper Mesh
Stack-Up analysis for specific geometrical features of individual components and/or module integration
Definition of NX geometrical 3D models of LPT components
Document technical data in reports and dedicated repositories
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial / Technology Engineering
Fundamental knowledge of engine components manufacturing process, production technology (casting, machining, EDM, welding, heat treatment processes, CMM measurement)
knowledge of drawings interpretation and Global Dimensioning and Tolerances
hands-on experience with engineering FEM analysis and simulations – static, fractures, dynamic (Ansys, Hyper-Mesh, Siesta)
knowledge of CAD modelling and drafting (NX software)
Fundamental knowledge of aviation engines, LPT and components,
Good English communication
Good knowledge and practice of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
Self-motivation, open for new challenges and learning, team player
