Anastasia Beverly Hills Director, Global Brand & Product Marketing in Beverly Hills, California

We are looking for a strategic thinker, strong executor, and inspiring leader to join our dynamic, fast-paced team as the Director, Global Marketing.

This is a highly visible leadership role that build and leads a team to bring our founders’ long-term innovation vision to life, establish global product marketing strategy as well as best-in-class 360 marketing vision, strategy and execution plans that speak to our customers through all touch points.

This role will report to the Vice President, Global Omni Channel Marketing, Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Essential Job Functions:

Global Brand Marketing

  • Effectively bring our founders vision to life in developing and implementing impactful 360° Go-to-market strategy and campaigns (launches and always-on)

  • Own the ongoing Global Marketing Calendar across all key levers; communicate globally to ensure execution alignment across all channels and regions

  • Collaborate with founders and Creative team to build-out the content strategy to support all Marketing Initiatives

  • Own and manage insights-driven creative and marketing briefs, ensuring high impact and effective speed to market for all campaigns and marketing content globally

  • Own and communicate full content library & strategic usage to all markets globally

  • Build and scale ABH Professional program that drives customer loyalty and increase brand trust with Professional Makeup Artists

  • Anticipate and integrate industry, category, consumer, and technology trends to inform global marketing strategies

  • Lead competitive analysis to position ABH distinctively in the market

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure clarity and alignment around brand direction, key strategic decisions and business performance

    Global Product Marketing  

  • Lead global market analysis to determine success factors by product category (messaging, visuals, claims) for new and existing products

  • In partnership with our founder and Product Development and with manager support, create product boards and launch briefs, outlining product strategies, positioning, target claims, key ingredients, SRP, packaging detail, and formula detail

  • Assist in the development of a 3-year innovation strategy that addresses business and retailer objectives; partner with our founders and product development team to influence white space opportunities based on consumer insights and social listening data

  • Infuse compelling storytelling to new product launches and core product support

  • Recommend and set pricing structure for new product innovation based on positioning and competitive landscape

  • Collaborating with sales and VP, Global Omni Channel marketing to design sampling and promo sets strategy for new launches and core support

  • Partner with our founders, Operations, Product Development and Regulatory on ingredients, product formats, formula submission review and approval, and clinical and consumer testing parameters for product claims

    People Management

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing team.

  • Create budgets and allocate resources to ensure that marketing initiatives are effectively executed.

  • Management of Two Directors and One Sr. Manager (to be hired)

    Requirements

     

  • Skilled at converting product & consumer feedback and founders’ vision into insights and actionable plans

  • Exceptionally curious & passionate about products and the consumer

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in retail marketing, with experience in beauty, including multiple specialty retailer experience

  • Self-starter, proactive, tenacious and goal-oriented

  • Results-driven with ability to analyze data and deduce implications for strategic decisions

  • Strong storyteller & presenter, with ability to advocate and sell-in ideas to senior management

  • Must be an effective leader who can inspire teams around a shared goal

  • Able to build collaborative relationships and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations groups, education, and creative

  • Able to handle multiple priorities, guide team to do the same while meeting objectives

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (google docs, google slides, etc)

Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
