Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Join our dedicated pharmacy team where you will triage, interpret, and input orders into our computerized medication order system with high accuracy and productivity. You will perform drug calculations, resolve issues related to medication denials, maintain knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations, and produce relevant reports. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service and may assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Hard Skills

  • 6+ months experience as a pharmacy technician

  • Experience in closed-door or specialty pharmacy

  • Understanding of medical terminology and ability to identify medications

Soft Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work under supervision and follow management directives

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Our pharmacy is a non-retail, closed-door environment focusing on the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care clients. This is a production/fulfillment/warehouse setting. Various shifts are available with competitive hourly rates.
