DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Grabner Instruments is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Northeast states of Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the Mid-West states of Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The ideal candidate should be located near one of the major airports in Ohio, New Jersey, or Illinois.The Regional Sales Manager will develop sales strategies and objectives for the rich territories of Northeast and Midwest states in accordance with overall business goals and objectives to achieve market share growth and maximize sales revenue and profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Meet all annual sales objectives. * Update all Identified Business Opportunities via our CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure diligent tracking of the progress of potential sales and ongoing projects. * Manage the territory sales opportunity funnel and provide a weekly progress report on monthly and quarterly sales targets. * Design and conduct professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services while visiting customer sites. * Ensure customer orders are processed in alignment with company objectives and policies. * Work with Product Application Specialists and Customer Support Representatives to ensure our products and services meet our customers' needs. * Attend industry trade shows, in territory and nationally, when deemed appropriate to assist the growth of territory business. * Enhance knowledge of new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings. * Use marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools. * Provide input to Product Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams to help align team efforts with market trends and customer needs. * Work with product managers and FAB North American Sales Director to target customers, introduce new products and manage existing portfolio of products to grow entire product lines. * Understand competitors' products and report back this information to sales and product managers in a timely fashion. * Update and maintain customer account information including contacts, opportunities and important communication in Salesforce. * Maintain expense reports and adhere to company culture of cost consciousness in travel expenses. * Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to represent yourself and the company in a positive manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree or commensurate industry training. * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience including direct B2B sales, capital equipment sales, sales channel, distributor. * Previous experience in the sale of test and measurement equipment is preferred. * Ability to maintain and communicate status on activity and sales forecasts. * Proficiency in use of; Salesforce, SalesLoft and Microsoft Office suite is preferred. * Industry experience preferred in: Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical, Food and Beverage or Flavors and Fragrances, Automotive, Environmental Monitoring and similar. * Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer service. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
