Job Title: Clinical Program ManagerJob Description

The Clinical Research Program Manager oversees all aspects of clinical trials for a designated research program. This position functions independently to lead a team of clinical research support staff to activate and implement studies. Advises and supports Clinical Research Center leadership regarding clinical research operations, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and training activities.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor research coordinators in the daily assessments, planning, and implementation of research projects.

  • Participate in recruitment, orientation, and mentoring of new research staff and support ongoing performance evaluations.

  • Coordinate staffing assignments and act as a liaison between the clinical research staff and administrative staff, outpatient and inpatient departments, physician offices, sponsors, and clinical research leaders.

  • Oversee data management of the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

  • Work with the data coordinator to produce reports and statistics as requested.

  • Oversee clinical trial budget preparation and budget tracking, and coordinate patient research billing with the financial coordinator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years' experience in clinical research required, preferably with cardiology, oncology, or pharmaceutical clinical trials.

  • Management experience preferred with reporting and oversight responsibilities and demonstration of project management skills.

  • Excellent technological proficiency in utilizing multiple e-based tools: Office365/SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) tools, web-based communication technologies (e.g., Zoom, BlueJeans, TEAMS, GoToMeeting), navigating websites, and/or experience in complex databases and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

  • MS Degree preferred.

Work Environment

This position is on-site five days a week at the Wynnewood location. The work environment is collaborative, involving interaction with physician investigators and a multi-disciplinary team. Strong computer-based skills are necessary as various software programs are utilized for reporting purposes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
