<p><strong>The role is based in the Wayfair Berlin office on Alexanderplatz - Monday to Thursday in office, Friday remote.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p>

<p>We’re looking for someone to help take Wayfair’s digital promotions and retail design to a whole new level - helping us discover new and innovative ways to reach customers - especially when it comes to events like Black Friday, Way Day and more.</p>

<p>That’s where you come in! Wayfair is looking for someone to champion our Promotional Design… leading the creation and roll-out of full multi-channel campaigns which showcase and present our brand in the most enticing way possible.</p>

<p>The ideal candidate is someone who has a combination of magic and logic - a skilled, meticulous, and motivated designer&nbsp; who can create great look &amp; feels for promotions, but also understands how that look can apply to 100s or 1000s of assets across the UK, Germany and Ireland. The creative&nbsp; team is very efficient and well structured - and your key collaborators would be the head of copy, creative ops and promotional strategy.</p>

<p>The role will report directly to the Creative Lead of Wayfair EU, with a reporting team of a designer and multiple freelancers, and partnering with both creatives and cross-functional partners.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>To be considered you </strong><strong><em>must</em></strong><strong> have an online portfolio.</strong></p>

<p>Your work should demonstrate a strong eye for design, a respect for both creating and elaborating on brand standards. Your portfolio should exhibit a love of experimentation and a command of available technology.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Leading the development and rollout&nbsp; of creative campaigns across Germany, Ireland and the UK, producing assets for a variety of mediums and styles.</li>

<li>A quick study - someone who can seamlessly manage multiple projects across many channels.</li>

<li>Be a quick learner, who’s able to jump onto new projects and quickly deliver</li>

<li>Be an organized team player, willing to pitch in to maintain efficient workflow</li>

<li>Take approved concepts through final artwork to proof check and approval - adapting design visuals and artwork into specified layouts and other digital/print work</li>

<li>Follow brand guidelines &amp; standards closely, while using past learnings and data to enhance assets.</li>

<li>Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design execution meets brand standards, business goals &amp; customer expectations while still driving strategy and maintaining a holistic level of brand awareness and consistency.</li>

<li>Help build a culture of open and constructive feedback, where everyone leaves their ego at the door and works together for the same goals</li>

<li>Fluency in English. We speak English at work, but design for UK and German markets</li>

<li>Can do attitude and willing to test and learn and try new things.</li>

<li>Ability to drive promotional sale strategy and understand internal analytics as well as what our competitors are doing.</li>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>3-5 years of experience</li>

<li>Experience working with cross-functional peers on multiple deadlines.</li>

<li>Experience leading a small team or unit - with clear goals and objectives.</li>

<li>An impeccable understanding of design, color, aesthetics, and typography principles.</li>

<li>Understanding of Social Media and Digital platforms and design aesthetics.</li>

<li>Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to project timelines.</li>

<li>The ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines is a must.</li>

<li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite,&nbsp; Sketch proficiency would be a plus.</li>

<li>An affinity for current industry developments, design trends, and technologies</li>

<li>Understanding of customer journey on marketing platforms and basic UI/UX design experience is a plus.</li>

<li>Proficiency with animation would be a plus.</li>
