The regional planner/senior regional planner manages the supply chain (SC) process from end to end (supplier, manufacturing, customer) and acts as interface to product line management (PLM) organization. He/She is responsible to balance demand and supply including the lead in all SC planning functions. This involves the overall planning, implementation and optimization of activities and support required for the delivery of products and services to our business partners, from materials and service acquisition through to shipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • creates and presents scenarios to prepare for capacity investment decisions

  • represents in sales, inventory and operating plan (SIOP) to identify and resolve constraints

  • creating, maintains and optimizes the SC process (end to end) and planning strategies

  • coordinates demand for new product introduction and transfers between plants and contract manufacturers

  • engages in materials coordination and vendor capacity facilitation with procurement

  • develops and maintains a forward-looking master production schedule (MPS) and material requirement plan (MRP) aligned in best possible way with forecasted demand

  • actively contributes to consensus meetings with PLM and APO (advanced planning & optimization) team

  • maintains and is responsible for the forecast in SAP

  • manages inventory in line with business requirements while striving for lowest possible inventory levels

  • reviews, analyzes, and is accountable for SC key performance indicators (KPI)

  • contributes to and represents in projects

  • provides a leadership role for coordinating plans and execution with PLM, plant planners, logistics and plant management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • technical or business master’s degree or equivalent

  • minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in a SCM environment

  • demonstrate drive & commitment & proactiveness

  • understand requirements of the business and a respective integrated SC + takes appropriate actions

  • change management & leadership

  • SAP knowledge & experience

  • deep Excel and PowerBI skills & experience

  • project management skills

  • understands all aspects of inventory management

  • ability to work independently in a dynamic, business/manufacturing environment

  • ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex problems

  • ability to change priorities and tasks as necessary

  • very good verbal / written / presentational & communication skills

  • ability to act and lead in a multi-national team

  • fluent English

  • willing to travel up to 25%
