<p><strong>Hybrid role (4 days in the office &amp; 1 from home)&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>On the Wayfair Supplier Inventory Management team, we partner with thousands of suppliers to maximize customers’ experience. This means driving speed and availability through inventory and positioning strategies with suppliers, leveraging Wayfair’s fulfillment services (CastleGate) as well as suppliers’ own supply chain capacities. Availability strategy is at the forefront of building an innovative, scalable business strategy for Wayfair to support business growth. In this role, you will serve as the Supplier Inventory Management lead for our DE business, and will develop insights to influence suppliers’ product&nbsp; production, supply chain and operations. Other focus areas include analysis to support decision-making related to inventory levels, managing excess inventory, promotional inventory planning, and improving overall inventory efficiency.</p>

<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Manage a team of 3 other associates&nbsp;</li>

<li>Regularly communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to senior management and leadership both within and outside your immediate line of reporting</li>

<li>Develop and execute strategies to optimize sales, turns, in-stock rates, and network balance, and create plans for replenishment orders or sell-through actions reflective of supplier goals&nbsp;</li>

<li>Communicate with suppliers to ensure follow-through and to develop sustainable, long-term strategies to grow the business</li>

<li>Manage efficient inbound inventory flows and health, including forecasting, purchasing, and removing aged inventory</li>

<li>Align Wayfair teams (Operations, Promotions, Category Management) to ensure strong supplier execution and to understand and manage the demand drivers impacting growth</li>

<li>Monitor key performance indicators and drive corrective actions with suppliers and cross-functional partners; drive root cause analysis/reporting on inventory related issues, developing action plans and project managing improvements</li>

<p><strong>What You'll Need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Fluency in English and German is essential for this role</li>

<li>Success in building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders</li>

<li>Analytical mindset and data-driven approach; deep experience with analytics and translating data into actionable insights to identify opportunities</li>

<li>5+ years of ecommerce, corporate retail, or management consulting experience, preferred</li>

<li>Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt with agility</li>

<li>High degree of resilience, collaborative persistence and curiosity</li>

<li>Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal</li>

<li>An ability to hit the ground running – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter</li>

<li>An ability to manage and prioritize projects and to delegate tasks appropriately</li>

<li>Innovative problem-solving skills – dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Experience with data analysis and visualization - GBQ, Looker, Excel</li>
