Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Maintains utility contract information and documentation by analyzing and interpreting contract language to identify required actions (for example, renewal obligations); drafting, executing, and sending letters for contract renewal and termination; updating the contract database and Real Estate Electronic Library; preparing and sending monthly utility rate letters; communicating with utility vendors regarding account changes (for example, from contractor to Walmart); and establishing new accounts. Manages departmental documentation and information by exporting utility data sheets; updating spreadsheets for fuel study specifications; documenting contractual records in the Real Estate electronic database; updating the Regional Energy Manager procedure manuals; and preparing departmental reports for distribution. Manages problem resolution for utility contract issues by identifying discrepancies in contracts and invoices; looking for incomplete information necessary for renegotiating contracts; and contacting utility companies to resolve problems. Serves as technical administrator for the department by assisting department associates with computer issues to troubleshoot problems; paying invoices; and providing other technical and administrative input on special issues. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
