Job Description:

The Pre-Sales Engineer- Supply Chain role is crucial in leveraging Accenture’s advanced SaaS solution, Agora, to enhance pre-sales initiatives. Working directly with Sales, this person will articulate our value proposition by demonstrating our capabilities through either on site or virtual environments. Our key product Agora, unites all of the tools needed to gain complete control and visibility across the service supply chain, fueled by accurate, high-quality, dynamic data. It gives our people the ability to reimagine and automate processes on the fly.

This position requires a deep understanding supply chain systems, software tools, and a basic understanding of managed services utilizing SaaS and Agent based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, customer-facing experience, an ability to demonstrate and articulate the user experience of a critical application stack that allows our people to orchestrate and automate processes across the service supply chain. The role requires someone who can effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience and contribute significantly to sales strategy and execution. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with sales, product management, marketing, operations, and engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet specific client requirements, ensuring our products lead the market in innovation and value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with our Sales Team, both New Logo and Account management, helping to define revenue targets and establishing means for measuring success.

  • Support/assist pilot or POC demonstrations of our technologies with end-use customers and dealers as needed.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the value proposition of our products and services and help align customer needs with our capabilities.

  • Work with our product teams to continually be updated on the most recent advancements of our Agora Platform and or any products.

  • Understand customer lifecycle, delivery processes, product specifications, features, options, installation, set-up and configuration.

  • Work internally to create, maintain and deploy sales documentation, training aids and tools to help ensure understanding of our full suite of SaaS products and general solutions.

  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise of competitor products and their key selling proposition, strengths and weaknesses.

  • Support Major Accounts and New Logo teams with RFQ/RFP responses, definition and project management pilot programs and strengthen relationships to win business opportunities.

    Job Requirement: This role is a Hybrid position and requires up to 30% travel, primarily within the U.S. and some international.

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Sales or Pre-Sales Engineer

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience promoting ERP, SAAS, or agent-led software technologies

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain

    Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field

    Professional Skills:

  • Ability to translate technical product specifications into value propositions

  • Customer focused mindset with a commitment toward providing the best customer experience with our products, our people, and our company

  • Superior presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across multiple departments

  • The role requires meticulous attention to detail and relationship management skills

  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate into relevant product and service offerings

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle unexpected challenges

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
