Software Engineer (f/m/d) IoT Service Platform

As an experienced Software Developer (m/f/d) you have the opportunity to become part of Dentsply Sirona's global and dedicated development team. You will play a crucial role in implementing the team's strategy in line with the goals of the IoT & Connectivity chapter. Encourage and promote innovation within the team and constantly look for ways to improve processes, efficiency and effectiveness. This position is a permanent role based at our production and innovation site in Bensheim. Mobile working is generally possible by arrangement. After the induction period, we are looking for a presence of two to three days per week on site in Bensheim.

Your Responibility:

• Backend responsibility for the DS Core Customer Service app (DSCCS) and the DS Core Equipment List

• DevOps responsibility for the deployment

• Software design, implementation and documentation

• Development of service technician procedures, workflow and software

• Support the product owner in refining user stories and defining acceptance criteria

• Development according to software development process and medical regulations

• Collaborate with other teams and understand technical relationships

• Follow the current state-of-the-art technology, read papers or attend conferences

Your Profile:

• MS or PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics or related engineering disciplines (algorithmic, mathematical, or numerical background)

• min. 3 years in the area of backend development

• Experience in design and programming in Go and Flutter or comparable under Windows and/or Linux

• Basic knowledge in CI/CD, Containerization (Docker) and Cloud Computing (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes)

• Experience in framework development and software architecture, in addition to DB based frameworks

• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
