Description We are offering an opportunity for a Tax Sr. - Corporate in Bensenville, Illinois, 60106, United States. This role will require the successful candidate to use their experience and skills in tax accounting and GAAP to perform a variety of tasks including accounting close, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role will also involve using your critical-thinking and Excel skills to analyze financial statements and underlying data.

Responsibilities:

• Use strong tax accounting skills to prepare journal entries, analyze and explain fluctuations and variances.

• Provide meaningful financial reporting to management.

• Support outsourced tax consultants in preparing tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports while maintaining the company’s tax database.

• Ensure federal, state, and local tax as well as international tax compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners including Finance, Operations, Tax, and Technology teams to maintain flow of communication and support.

• Apply critical-thinking and Excel skills to analyze financial statements and underlying data.

• Develop and present to management insights into financial results.

• Conduct ad hoc research, project work, and analysis as assigned.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, and Cash Activity for effective job performance.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate tax role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Familiarity with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Experience with Accounting Functions and Auditing is expected

• Knowledge of Budget Processes and Cash Activity is required

• Compliance experience is a must

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is expected.
