As the Test Automation Engineer within PCS Service Technology Team, you are responsible to ensure all quality aspects of Encompass product ecosystem are met. You will define test charter, automate as appropriate, and accomplish end to end testing. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Achieve Test Automation in Functional, API, Mobile and Performance areas along with Manual Testing.

  • Qualify integration of multiple features and components in system.

  • Initiate, introduce new processes to streamline the Test Automation process.

  • Integrate project testing with CI/CD pipeline.

  • Develop artifacts for testing such as Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Data.

  • Write effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified, and tests remain valid when code is refactored.

  • Run extensive UAT Validation Process for monthly production releases.

  • Work with Selenium automation projects using Java and other Test Frameworks (Selenium TestNG, Ready API, Functionize, Appium)

  • Mentoring junior team members, conduct Knowledge Transfer trainings on the Product.

  • Maintain and Create Reports for Test automation in Project Management tools.

  • Manage automation code in version control Systems.

  • Collaboratively working across Product, Operations, and Engineering teams in diverse geographic locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • BE/Btech in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience

  • Experience with Java

  • Experience with Test Frameworks and Tools like Selenium

  • Hands-on experience with CICD tools like Github and Jenkins

  • Experience with SQL
