Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

•Own large sized tasks or small projects and delivers results with quality .• Contribute in driving initiatives such as defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced.

• Reuse existing code appropriately wherever possible; drives same behaviors across team while coaching other developers to improve their code quality.

• Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams at the COE.

• Determine testing best practices and principals and promotes them across the organization.

• Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.

• Use test automation techniques (data driven, pairwise, mocking, test hooks) that fit the problem space. Understands designing and coding for testability to produce quality code with the lowest cost. MUST have following Technical Expertise

Technical Expertise :

  • Strong knowledge of OOP software design patterns and principles.

  • Strong knowledge of Java / Springboot with 7+ years and Java open-source software components.

  • Comfortable working in the presentation-tier automation needs. HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.

  • Hands-on test automation development on testing Mobile Native, Hybrid application (iOS, Android, and Windows) and Responsive apps.

  • Experience in Automation tools like Appium, Espresso, and XCUITEST.

  • Experience on cloud-based tools Like Perfecto Mobile, SeeTest, AWS device farm, Browser Stack, Edge Inspector and Sauce labs.

  • Hands-on development using languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and JS.

  • Experience with automation IDE's (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.).

  • Experience with JUnit, TestNg and Page Object Model.

  • Experience with multiple WebDriver versions of Selenium.

  • Experience with automation framework standards (common/custom libraries, exception handling, reports, and code reviews) adherence.

  • Experience with test data management and data-driven development.

  • Experience with compatibility testing automation across different browsers.

  • Experience with continuous integration tools (GitHub, Cruise Control, Jenkins, etc.).

  • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.

  • Web Services testing experience in REST (JSON, WADL) and SOAP (JAXB, WSDL, XML) is preferred.

  • Automation experience across web applications, ERPs, and client-server applications.

  • Demonstrate the understanding of Agile test development (In-sprint and feature-based automation).

  • Work closely with your peers, automation lead, engineering and always collaborate.

Education Qualification

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Business Acumen:

• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments

• Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems

• Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks

• Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective

Leadership:

• Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions

• Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas

• Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team

• Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill

Personal Attributes:

• Able to work under minimal supervision

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
