Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to work with our Developer Productivity team. This individual will work on platform technologies and automate desktop workflows. Responsibilities

• Test desktop platform capabilities on all platforms - Windows, Mac and Linux

• Define the test strategy and release processes for rollout of software to product teams

• Liase with product teams and keep them abreast of changes and release schedules

• Work with development and product management to define efficient user scenarios

• Create documentation as appropriate for solutions developed

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in a software quality assurance role

• Proven track record of delivering test documentation

• Strong knowledge of Jenkins and understanding of CI CD processes

• Working knowledge of C++ Good understanding of Behavior Driven Development Methodologies and Specflow

• Very good communication skills, must be a team player

• Strong technical knowledge in SDLC and Software Testing Life cycles

• Knowledge and experience in designing tests, defining scope and identifying functional and non-functional testing (e.g. performance, availability, stability, security, environment, etc.)

• Good knowledge and understanding of Agile Development practices and tools such as Jira and Kanban

• Good understanding of QA Methodologies and QA Lifecycle

• Good knowledge in Test Driven Development Strategies

• Hands-on experience in testing of APIs and tools

• Good understanding of test reports preparation and interpretation

• Good understanding of testing metrics
