As a Senior Manager – Software Engineering you will be leading the PACS engineering activities, driving the programs/security/quality/productive/Metric/customer support of the product. Collaborate with leadership and product cross-functional team to deliver the program & product roadmap. Providing technical guidance to the team, owing the appraisal of the team members, driving the growth of the product and your team.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineering team on day-to-day development activities, participating in design and architecture discussions, design review, code review, and implementation.

  • Work closely with product management & architecture in understanding requirements, design, architecture and own implementation of the features.

  • End-to-End engineering ownership (Planning, design, implementing, testing, releasing, Customer support, complaint handling, investigation).

  • Program Planning, reviewing & guiding the team, prioritization of work,

  • Develop and deliver quality application software on-time and delivery against project plans and delivery commitments.

  • Demonstrating Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle.

  • Collaborate with product Cross functional team, On-Site team and Scrum team to deliver the program scope.

  • Collaborate and work with Service team for customer issues and during go-live.

  • Leading the team, providing technical guidance, contributing to product quality, QMS, Investigation, CAPA.

  • Reporting program plan & status, highlight risk to Leadership

  • Driving product roadmap, strategizing the releases, Patches and product EOL

  • Driving product quality metrics, reporting the status to leadership, leading the conversation & driving decisions.

Educational Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Required Skills:

  • Overall 15+ Years of experience of software development

  • 2+ years of People management and performance appraisal experience.

  • Managing 15+ team size of Development & Testing.

  • Proficient in software development lifecycle and development methodologies

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes

  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize.

  • Hands-on experience in Software Design Principles, Core Java, Spring boot, RESTful API's, RabbitMQ and Web Services.

  • Hands-on experience in manage the IB products, Product Security, connecting with product Service team.

  • Ready to work in existing product, strong troubleshooting/debugging skill, resolving complex technical & customer feedback

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience working on software projects in the Healthcare Domain

  • Experience in healthcare technologies like HL7 & DICOM Digital Imaging and Communications in Imaging.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions

  • Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas

  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
