Oracle Software Developer 2 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

2-3 years of working experience with expertise in Java, J2EE, Java Script, SQL / Oracle. Some exposure to Spring, Webservices / REST, Microservices / Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes will be good to have, but not necessary.The primary expectation from this role is investigation/troubleshooting/resolution of defect/change request. The candidate will have to understand existing code and perform code changes to do defect fixes and also some small enhancements based on architecture/design directions provided. The candidate will also be responsible for Product Fundamentals Enhancement (resolving/improving Security, Stability, Scalability of the software) work for clients in the areas of Revenue Cycle / 3M Regulatory. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and troubleshooting/problem solving capability to diagnose/resolve complex client problems (functional and non-functional). The candidate should be ready to learn and understand the Revenue Cycle / 3M Regulatory domain/functionality and also learn and work on the legacy technologies and frameworks to drive defect analysis, troubleshooting, coding solutions and testing an implemented fix.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
