As a Cost Out Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost optimization initiatives across the Imaging organization. You will lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, analyze existing processes, and develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Very strong sourcing and technical background is needed. You will take wing to wing cost out which includes all cost categories like Deflation (Supplier Negotiation) / Design / Logistics / Service / Warranty etc.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Key team member in a cross-functional segment team responsible for interfacing between Product Development teams and the Integrated Supply Chain Organization to drive cost out activities.

• Key focal point for all cost out activities thru spend data analytics. Special Focus on tail spend and drive cost out thru supplier consolidation.

• Champion cost out initiatives early in NPI process to ensure best cost right at first time.

• Driving cost out thru Disruptive Cost Workout for Imaging products.

• Collaborate with engineering located across the Globe to ensure technology match occurs between supply partners and engineering & manufacturing to ensure capable product with best prices.

• Negotiate First Time right Cost for Mechanical & Electronics parts. Lead dedicated Cost Reductions work outs in collaborative manner with Supplier & Cross Functional Team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical related field.

• Strong sourcing background. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Global Sourcing, Project Costing and cost out projects.

• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes of Mechanical parts & PWA

• Should be capable to develop Cost Models for Assembled Products

• Expert in data analytics.

• Good knowledge of global supplier base for Mechanical and Electronics category.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Developing low-cost supplier base.

• Capable of driving cost out YoY thru supplier negotiation or design changes.

• Working experience with development and production with Medical Devices.

• Effective problem-solving ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally).

• Skilled in negotiating with suppliers & internal stakeholder. Excellent program/project management experience with the ability to develop and execute on integrated program plans.

• Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change globally
