Driver Technician (Bucket Truck)

Starlight Security,Incis searching for a qualified Driver Technician to join our growing team. In this unique role, you'll combine your expert driving skills with technical knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of our bucket truck fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate bucket trucks with a manual transmission (stick shift) to access elevated work areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on bucket trucks, identifying and reporting any potential issues.
- Assist with repairs and troubleshooting of bucket truck equipment, following established procedures.
- Securely transport tools, materials, and crew members to job sites.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and obtain required certifications (e.g., MDOT/DOT certified CDL with appropriate endorsements).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating bucket trucks with a manual transmission.
- Proven ability to drive safely and efficiently in diverse road conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new technical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MDOT/DOT certified CDL with appropriate endorsements a plus).
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
