TRC Irrigation & Lighting LLC Nursery Worker in Belton, Texas
(1) Plant, fertilize, weed, prune, repot, water, and mulch plants, shrubs and trees in the nursery using hand and gardening tools; (2) Inspect plants to assess quality and health and to identify signs of disease or pests; (3) Propagate plants by gathering seeds and spores, and oversee germination and stratification; (4) Ensure plants are healthy and properly cared for; (5) Handle incoming and outgoing shipments; (6) Maintain inventory of nursery contents; (7) Maintain clean work areas, including the nursery, grounds and landscaping; (8) Ensure the irrigation and climate control systems are working properly, and perform basic maintenance and repairs; (9) Maintain records for plants related to size, watering, feeding and products used; and (10) Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements: Three (3) months experience in the job offered (Nursery Worker), Landscaper, or a related occupation.
Special skills: (1) Nursery or planting skills. (2) Skills in repairing irrigation or climate equipment. (3) Ability to recognize pest or illness in plants and know what to do to correct the condition. (4) Ability to
fill job orders accurately.
