Actalent Quality Assurance Lead in Beloit, Wisconsin
Job Description: Quality Assurance Lead
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for validating patterns, preparing and distributing PPAP forms, managing ISO certification and audit processes, and supporting the quoting process. Your role will involve extensive communication with suppliers and customers to maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities
Validate patterns to ensure they meet customer quality expectations for castings.
Prepare and distribute PPAP forms to foundries, machine shops, and other suppliers.
Collect completed PPAP forms from suppliers.
Lead ISO certification and audit processes.
Calibrate hand tools and instruments.
Investigate non-conformances.
Manage inventory.
Support the quoting process for customers.
Manage all ISO/quality documents, including ISO 9001:2015, inspection reports for machine shops, and PPAPs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in quality assurance processes.
Experience with ISO 9001 standards.
Knowledge of PPAP procedures.
SolidWorks inspection experience.
Familiarity with Faro Arm and Romer Toolkit Software.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with quality control and inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Foundry or metallurgy experience.
SolidWorks design experience is a plus.
Experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
