Wisconsin State Job Bank Property Manager in BELOIT, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Property Management Maintain maximum occupancy while adhering to tenant screening guidelines and HUD Section 8 compliance. Keep organized tenant records and ensure smooth daily operations. Tenant Relations Develop, review, and enforce tenant rules, leases, and policies. Manage tenant relations, including conflict resolution and eviction proceedings when necessary. Compliance & Reporting Prepare and submit all required compliance reports, including income verifications, monthly occupancy reports, and re-certifications. Budget & Maintenance Oversight Work with the Executive Director to develop and manage operating and capital expenditure budgets. Oversee property maintenance and capital improvement projects to ensure safety, value, and sustainability. Community Engagement Establish and strengthen partnerships with local organizations to enhance resident services and promote housing stability. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Who We\'re Looking For: Strong property management background, preferably with experience in affordable housing or Section 8 compliance. Knowledge of basic maintenance areas (plumbing, electrical, general repairs). Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and address challenging situations with compassion and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. High level of judgment and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HUD & WHEDA compliance. Knowledge of Beloit community support systems.
