General Floor (http://www.generalfloor.com/) , a privately held wholesale floor covering distributor, is seeking a Financial Accountant with growth potential. General Floor has 18 locations throughout NJ, PA, and DE, and has nearly 200 full-time employees. This opportunity is based out of GF's main office in Bellmawr, NJ.
Summary:
General Floor's Financial Accountant is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Financial Accountant provides direct support to the CFO and works alongside Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments. This position handles various accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting and analysis, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. Growth opportunities contingent on successful development.
Requirements:
BS in Accounting or Finance
Hands on Experience as Accountant
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Technology Proficiency
Strong Verbal and Written Communication
Must be able to pass a thorough background screening
